What is involved in the restoration of a tooth?
We will first gently numb the area with a topical and local anaesthetic. The decay will be carefully removed using dental handpieces and diamond burs. The cavity will be cleaned of any bacteria or debris and then a tooth-coloured resin composite will be applied in layers and set with a special blue light. The procedure is usually very simple and can take as little as 10 minutes.
We provide the option to listen to soft music or watch a movie using our 3D glasses during the procedure if the noise/sensation is uncomfortable for you.
