PRINCIPAL DENTIST
Dr Luma Jabbar
Dr Luma graduated as a Dental Surgeon in 1998, and obtained her Masters degree in Prosthodontics in 2000.
In 2013, Dr Luma completed Momentum Management Program, a 30 month study designed to enhance patient and practice management, allowing her to provide exceptional service and care to her patients.
Luma is fluent in both English and Arabic, helping provide exceptional care to those in the Arabic community that have difficulty communicating.
Luma can fully relate to how some patients feel about visiting the dentist, she herself had a bad dental experience in her childhood. Since becoming a dentist Luma has committed to make her patients experience as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Dr Luma frequently help patients with severe anxiety and provides such a calming experience that many of them overcome their fears and attend our clinic with ease.
Luma very much appreciates that many of her new patients are referred by family members or friends that have seen Luma and were touched by her kindness and genuine care. Luma enjoys working with children and apprehensive patients. In her spare time, Luma enjoys working as a volunteer to serve the community.
IMPLANTOLOGIST
Dr Saud Ibrahim
BDS MSc PG Diploma Oral Implants (University of Sydney)
Graduating from the University of Baghdad in 1989, Saud went on to complete his Masters (Graduating with Distinction) in Prosthodontics in 1996.
Since immigrating to New Zealand in 1997, Dr. Saud has opened three highly successful dental clinics. In 2005, he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Oral Implants, from the University of Sydney.
He is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Team of Implantology & The Australian Osseo-integration Society.
Cosmetic and Implant dentistry are strong areas of interest and expertise for Saud. Our patient love seeing Dr. Saud due to his calming nature, wonderful sense of humour and impressive restorative abilities. You can trust Dr. Saud to restore your teeth and have you smiling again!
DENTIST
Dr Cathy Chien
Dr Cathy Chien completed her Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith university. Since graduating, Cathy has worked in private practices in Hervey Bay and Brisbane.
Due to prior bad dental experience, Cathy wants to treat her patients the way she would want to be treated. Her gentle touch and caring manner allows patients to feel at ease. She also loves treating children, providing a fun experience for them so the children would happily return.
Cathy continues to broaden her knowledge and improving her skills by attending professional development courses and keeping herself up to date with the latest developments. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
In Cathy’s spare time, she loves to travel, see different cultures and meet different people. Cathy also loves watching sports like tennis, basketball and rugby.
